A notary public is an official appointed by the state government to witness and certify the signing of legal documents.

You will need to provide a None- Expired government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport, to be notarized.
Remote online notarization (RON) allows documents to be notarized in electronic form with the signer signing with an electronic signature.
Apostilles authenticate the seals and signatures of officials on public documents such as birth certificates, court orders, or any other document issued by a federal agency or certified by a U.S. or foreign consul. An apostille certifies the document(s), so the document can be recognized in foreign countries that are members of the 1961 Hague Convention.
A Notorial acknowledgement is a formal statement made by a notary public that confirms the identity of the individual who is signing a document and that the signature on the document is authentic.
A jurat is also known as (Verification upon oath) requires the signer to swear to or affirm the truthfulness of the content of a document before a notary or Notorial officer.
An Oath is a public declaration based on an appeal to a higher power that the person taking the oath will keep a promise or perform a duty faithfully.
An affirmation is a pledge equivalent to an oath but without any reference to a higher being.
